Dear Authors,
We understand your frustration at our silence. We have been taking care of our own selves first--something which we do not ask apology for, but your empathy seeing that we were all in the same situation. We were inactive due to extenuating circumstances, so no emails were checked or replied to, no author copies sent, and no payments made. So don't feel too left out! We would like to thank you for your patience during these trying times the last two years. COVID his us hard and put everything on hold as we rearranged our lives and finances--there has only been a trickle with all the funding raising sources canceled for two years, so it's been our day jobs. We are sorry that it has taken us so long to get back to you, get contracts fulfilled, but 2022 is the year we will be moving on our obligations now that things are stable again. It is our full intent and requirement to do so-to honor you-and the beautiful works you published with us. All our best, Forty-Two Books
