Letters of acknowledgement are really important to me. As a person who has not received a lot of recognition for my work, I find it pleasing to know that there are some who acknowledge my existence. I do hope that people get the same acknowledgement that I get right now. In the past, there was a time when I just wanted to end it all, but these letters really allowed me to get better.
